This is a fansite for K.O. Dahl, whose full name is Kjell Ola Dahl. He writes relatively hard boiled, perhaps “noir” crime fiction, and is one of the many new and interesting Scandinavian crime fiction writers getting more and more attention in England and the United States. Dahl, as Jo Nesbo and Karin Fossum, is a Norwegian writer. His style is tough, but sensitive. A great author with detectives we like a lot, the somewhat grumpy Inspector Gunnarstranda and his assistant Frolich.

We have set up this site because we love to be entertained by K.O. Dahl, and have noticed that there was no English language web site for him. We think he deserves more of a web presence!

During the last few days we have completed the set up, and hope we have succeeded in creating a good looking and attractive web design – including layout, formats, use of colors etc – for this site. But the site is still under construction, and we will be adding more content about our favorite detective and the author.

The site is affiliated with Google and Amazon. You can support the site by using the links provided here. Just to be clear on this issue: This site is not expected to make us money! This is a hobby site for us – we do not expect to be paid for the hours spent on this. The very few dollars we may make on these ads will hopefully contribute towards the costs associated with developing the site, software used and to costs of hosting the site.

We hope the site can help to make the literary and other qualities of K.O. Dahl more visible on the internet, and perhaps make a few more people read his wonderful and entertaining books!
